Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Malaipet Sasiprapa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kuroda Atsushi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sasiprapa comes to the cage accompanied by Malaipet the Diamond. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
24 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Malaipet Sasiprapa! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
32 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kuroda Atsushi! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Topper Green and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sasiprapa fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Atsushi checks it well. Atsushi scores with a leg kick.
Sasiprapa stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Atsushi. An inside leg kick lands from Sasiprapa. Sasiprapa lets loose with a powerful body kick. Atsushi will feel that in the morning. Atsushi blocks the body kick.
Sasiprapa walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Atsushi checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. A slapping leg kick lands for Atsushi.
Sasiprapa keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Sasiprapa lands with a right hand. Atsushi fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Sasiprapa is out of range. Sasiprapa on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. We've been hearing reports that Sasiprapa has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Atsushi tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Atsushi bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Atsushi throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Sasiprapa lands a head kick. Atsushi smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sasiprapa fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Atsushi manages to avoid it. Atsushi attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Good leg kick by Atsushi there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Malaipet Sasiprapa is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A clash of legs there as Sasiprapa blocks the low kick. Sasiprapa jabs Atsushi to the body, keeping him at a distance. Atsushi throws a lazy right hand but Sasiprapa sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Sasiprapa lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Sasiprapa fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Atsushi. Atsushi lands a jab to the head.
Sasiprapa moves out of range of the body kick. Atsushi scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Sasiprapa throws a leg kick that is checked and Atsushi counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Atsushi missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Sasiprapa is looking for a sweep. Atsushi is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Atsushi is working for a kimura but Sasiprapa is defending it quite comfortably.
Atsushi is keen to just control but Sasiprapa is a slippery customer. Atsushi throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Atsushi missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Sasiprapa is controlling Atsushi's position as best he can from this difficult position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Atsushi wants to take a breather but Sasiprapa is having none of it. Ground and pound from Atsushi.

Sasiprapa throws a leg kick and Atsushi counters with a shoot takedown. Sasiprapa fights it but they end up in guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Atsushi accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Atsushi works a leg free and moves into half guard. Atsushi slows the pace down in half guard. Atsushi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sasiprapa keeps working. Sasiprapa is trying to maintain the position but Atsushi is very close to passing his half guard. Atsushi trying to pass the guard but Sasiprapa defending well. Atsushi seems to be looking for submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sasiprapa avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Atsushi. Sasiprapa trying to control but Atsushi postures up.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Atsushi avoids the body shot from Sasiprapa.
Atsushi misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Sasiprapa misses with a body kick. Atsushi feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Sasiprapa's calf. Atsushi shoots in for a takedown but Sasiprapa shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. A nice inside leg kick there by Atsushi. That's going to slow Sasiprapa down. Sasiprapa misses the shot to the body. Atsushi misses with a body kick. Sloppy strikes from Atsushi. Those never looked like landing. Atsushi takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Sasiprapa misses with a low kick as Atsushi jumps back. Nice defenses there by Sasiprapa. Sasiprapa lands a leg kick that knocks Atsushi off balance momentarily. Sasiprapa looks for the body kick but Atsushi saw that one coming. Atsushi avoids the head kick by Sasiprapa.
Atsushi ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Sasiprapa walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Atsushi checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Malaipet Sasiprapa is winning the standup battle so far. Atsushi shoots in and bounces Sasiprapa off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Atsushi postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kuroda Atsushi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Atsushi crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Sasiprapa - the referee stops the clock and Atsushi gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Sasiprapa. Atsushi manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Atsushi smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Sasiprapa throws a leg kick but Atsushi sees it coming and moves out of range. Atsushi comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Sasiprapa misses with a body kick. A nice inside leg kick there by Atsushi. That's going to slow Sasiprapa down. Sasiprapa slips a jab from Atsushi. A jab from Sasiprapa misses. Atsushi tried to score with a low kick but Sasiprapa checks it. Atsushi throws a leg kick that misses. Sasiprapa is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Atsushi misses with an attempted mid kick.

Sasiprapa is looking to wear down Atsushi with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Atsushi misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Atsushi shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sasiprapa but Sasiprapa pushes him off and we're back to square one. Sasiprapa moves out of range of the leg kick from Atsushi. Sasiprapa tries to sprawl but Atsushi drives through with a takedown into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Atsushi tries to pass to full mount but Sasiprapa defends it. Sasiprapa tries to roll over but Atsushi keeps him under control. Atsushi is taking a breather. Sasiprapa says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Atsushi is working for a submission of some sort.

Sasiprapa trying to control the position here. Atsushi throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sasiprapa works some decent striking defense from the bottom. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Atsushi missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Sasiprapa pulls Atsushi in close to prevent any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Sasiprapa lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Atsushi has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Atsushi and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Atsushi takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sasiprapa feints and then cracks Atsushi's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Atsushi down. Atsushi buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Sasiprapa throws a body kick that misses. Sasiprapa throws a sloppy head kick and Atsushi counters with a nice double leg into guard. Sasiprapa is adopting a defensive guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sasiprapa keeping moving, preventing Atsushi from controlling successfully. Atsushi with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Atsushi wants to control from the top but Sasiprapa keeps moving.

Sasiprapa wants to stand up but Atsushi is controlling him. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Malaipet Sasiprapa has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Atsushi is trying to control the action in half guard but Sasiprapa is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Atsushi perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Atsushi is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Sasiprapa doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Atsushi. Atsushi trying to pass the guard but Sasiprapa defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Atsushi trying to control from Sasiprapa's half guard. Sasiprapa has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Sasiprapa controls Atsushi momentarily but Atsushi frees himself. Atsushi with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Atsushi with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sasiprapa lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Atsushi! Atsushi is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Sasiprapa prevents Atsushi from getting the reversal. Sasiprapa looking to secure an arm triangle but Atsushi defends it well. Kuroda Atsushi is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Atsushi sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sasiprapa thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Sasiprapa prevents Atsushi from improving his position. Kuroda Atsushi has got the better of the ground game so far. Atsushi trying to hold on to Sasiprapa's head to control him but Sasiprapa postures up.
And that's the end of the fight! Kuroda Atsushi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Atsushi winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A very excited looking Kuroda Atsushi made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
