Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roscoe Conwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Tucker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Conwell comes to the cage accompanied by Super Bon Bon. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roscoe Conwell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tom Tucker! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Conwell misses with a looping right. Conwell misses with a body shot.
Conwell avoids the body shot from Tucker.
Conwell paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Tucker uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Conwell has time to react.
It looks like Roscoe Conwell has been cut. Conwell throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Tucker avoids a punch combination nicely.
Tucker tries to bum rush Conwell with a series of wild strikes but Conwell uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Tucker closes the distance and clinches up with Conwell, looking for a takedown. Tucker pushes Conwell against the cage but Conwell circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Tucker dodges the punch combination from Conwell.
Tucker shoots in looking for a takedown. Conwell tries to sprawl out of it but Tucker keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Conwell manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Tucker walks into a straight right hand from Conwell. Conwell throws a body punch but Tucker moves out of range. Conwell throws a combination that misses and Tucker connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Conwell throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Conwell lands with a shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tucker closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Tucker is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Conwell tries to get to full guard but Tucker has control of the leg. Conwell manages to escape and get back to his feet! Conwell jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Tucker fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Roscoe Conwell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tom Tucker. The fighters circling - Conwell throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Conwell misses with a body shot.
Conwell wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. A jab from Tucker misses. A shot to the body from Conwell misses and Tucker counters with a nice double leg into side control. Conwell won't be happy with that.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Tucker tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Tucker has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Tucker looks gassed! Conwell isn't going anywhere. Conwell tries to get back to half guard but can't. Tucker tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Conwell tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Tucker wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Tucker is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Conwell looks calm but he's in trouble here. Tucker gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Conwell is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Tucker lets go of the hold and Conwell can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Tom Tucker!
