Carney's entrance music is T.I. - Every Chance I get. A fine choice. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Oliveira tries to clinch up but Carney circles away and keeps his distance.

Carney takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Oliveira tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Carney manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Carney uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Oliveira has time to react.
Carney is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Oliveira shoots for a double leg takedown but Carney sprawls well. He's pushed Oliveira's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
