Rodney Carney was just a simple guy looking to make ends meet by working as a stunt double for some high budget films, hence his moniker "The Stuntman". He was obliged to train BJJ for his role on one of his projects, and he soon fell in love with grappling. Since then he turned pro and relinquished his duties as a stunt performer, and dedicated his life to MMA.
