Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Thor Berserk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Severi Turpaansaaja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Turpaansaaja has chosen Rage Against The Machine - Bulls On Parade as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Turpaansaaja.
Berserk is trying to control Turpaansaaja's posture but Turpaansaaja avoids it.
Berserk is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Turpaansaaja wants to lay and pray for a moment but Berserk keeps working.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Turpaansaaja working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Turpaansaaja is looking to work some ground and pound but Berserk has wrist control.

Berserk working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Turpaansaaja doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Turpaansaaja manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Berserk is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Turpaansaaja is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
