Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stanton Crowe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julian Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crowe comes into the arena with The Builders & The Butchers - Bringing Home The Rain blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
21 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Stanton Crowe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Julian Knight! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Knight gets the takedown into side control. Crowe is trying to improve his position. Crowe might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Knight looks up at the clock and then as Crowe takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Knight smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Knight throws a strike aimed at the side of Crowe's head but Crowe avoids it well. Crowe tries to bench press Knight off him but Knight keeps the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Crowe manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Knight tries to get to full guard but Crowe has control of the leg. Crowe scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Knight is looking to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crowe looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Knight with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Crowe wants to control but Knight is keeping him busy. Crowe throwing shots but Knight is blocking nicely. Crowe sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Knight defending well though. Knight wants to get back to full guard. Knight wants to control but Crowe is keeping busy and won't allow it. Crowe has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Knight manages to get to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Crowe got a little sloppy there for a moment and Knight has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Crowe has managed to get both his arms back between Knight's legs - danger averted. Crowe is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Crowe is in close to Knight's body, working some short punches and elbows. Crowe is looking to work some ground and pound but Knight has wrist control. Crowe got a little sloppy there for a moment and Knight has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Crowe has managed to get both his arms back between Knight's legs - danger averted.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Knight looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Crowe has picked Knight up and slammed him! Knight can't keep hold of the triangle and Crowe manages to pass to side control! Crowe is putting a hurting on Knight here, landing some big shots from side control. Crowe trying to control the position but Knight is working away. Crowe in side control lands a decent elbow. Knight is looking to reverse the position. Knight gets back to half guard. Crowe lands strikes from half guard. Crowe scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! Knight wants to get back to full guard. Knight works his way to full guard. Good work. Knight is looking for a triangle but Crowe pushes his legs off easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crowe scoring with some ground and pound. Knight keeping moving, preventing Crowe from controlling successfully. Crowe working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Crowe's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Crowe pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Knight is keeping the position for now. Crowe trying to control the position from guard on top but Knight is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Knight is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Crowe is aware though and is defending well. Knight escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Crowe gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Crowe's corner is telling him to maintain position. Crowe trying to control the position from guard on top but Knight is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crowe got a little sloppy there for a moment and Knight has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Crowe has managed to get both his arms back between Knight's legs - danger averted. Knight is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Crowe trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Crowe trying to control the position from guard on top but Knight is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Crowe won't allow Knight to sweep him here. Crowe stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Knight swivels though and keeps the full guard. Knight is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Crowe makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stanton Crowe dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Knight blocks a jab. Crowe keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Knight. Crowe scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Crowe tries to clinch but Knight is having none of it. Crowe misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Knight.
Knight has taken the fight to the clinch.
Knight tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Crowe misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Crowe scores with an uppercut up the middle. Knight tries to work over Crowe's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. A short right from Crowe on the inside. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Crowe presses Knight against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Crowe has a couple of punches blocked by Knight.
Crowe blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Crowe is pressed up against the cage. Knight has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Crowe down to the mat. Crowe avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Knight misses with a looping left. Crowe half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crowe pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Jab from Knight. Crowe throws a body shot but no joy. Crowe lands a nice shot that snaps Knight's head back.
Crunch! Crowe slams his shin into Knight's torso. Crowe thows a body kick. Knight tries to catch it but that hurt him. Knight is breathing heavily. Knight keeps the fight on the outside. Crowe connects with a leg kick. Knight looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Knight throws a hook to the side of Crowe's head but Crowe sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Crowe fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Knight looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Crowe is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Knight can do to turn this around? A swing and a miss from Crowe. Crowe's corner calls for a 1-2. Crowe obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Crowe throws a low kick, looking for Knight's leg but Knight calmly moves out of range. Crowe drops Knight with a straight right hand, right on the button! Crowe follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Stanton Crowe! In his post fight interview, Stanton Crowe started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
