Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Maximus Magneto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gunner State Jr. (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). . Magneto's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Rise Against - Injection. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

39 - 17 - 5, fighting out of London, Maximus Magneto! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gunner State Jr.! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Phil Schofield and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Magneto finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
A thudding body kick lands there by Magneto!
Magneto is looking to slow State Jr. down with leg kicks. State Jr. gets cracked there but stands up to it.
State Jr. darts in looking for a takedown but Magneto gets double underhooks and turns State Jr. into the cage. A nice leg kick lands there from Magneto. State Jr. takes a swing at Magneto's ribcage but misses. State Jr. tries to clinch up. State Jr. takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Magneto missing with a left hand there. State Jr. was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. State Jr. moves out of range of the body kick. Magneto misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from State Jr..
State Jr. tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Magneto defends well and State Jr. ends up having to push Magneto into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Magneto looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. A lazy left from Magneto finds it's target. A chopping leg kick lands by Magneto. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Magneto is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

That's one minute gone in the round. Magneto looks to land a left hand but State Jr. moved out of range nicely. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Magneto, right into the meat.
State Jr. looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Magneto has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Outlaws Clubhouse in the buildup to the fight. State Jr. changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Magneto looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Magneto tries to improve position but can't. Magneto avoids any damage from the ground and pound of State Jr.. Magneto tries to improve position but can't. State Jr. scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Magneto to see if he's OK. Magneto is positioning himself to get back to half guard. State Jr. tries for a kimura but Magneto is defending well. Magneto wants to control but State Jr. postures up.

Magneto keeps State Jr. under control for a moment. Magneto tries to bench press State Jr. off him but State Jr. keeps the position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. State Jr. tries to advance to mount but Magneto denies him. State Jr. tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. State Jr. is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Magneto has escaped the position, nice work there. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Magneto is working to avoid the ground and pound but State Jr. connects with a decent elbow. Magneto tries to get back to half guard but can't. State Jr. goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Magneto rolls with the submission and now he's on top in State Jr.'s guard! Nice work there by Magneto! State Jr. working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Magneto doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Magneto manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Magneto trying to control the position from guard on top but State Jr. is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Magneto wants to pass the guard but State Jr. is keeping the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. State Jr. escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Magneto gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. State Jr. is looking for a triangle here but Magneto uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Magneto content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Maximus Magneto dominated that round. That's time! Magneto's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Magneto lands a leg kick that knocks State Jr. off balance momentarily. State Jr. has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Magneto misses with a low kick. Magneto scores with a leg kick.
State Jr. will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. State Jr. slips a straight right by Magneto. Excellent takedown into side control there by State Jr.. Magneto is looking to reverse the position. State Jr. goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Magneto has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for State Jr. but great work by Magneto. Magneto stands up and beckons State Jr. to his feet. Nice uppercut lands for Magneto. That snapped State Jr.'s head back.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Magneto looks to land a body kick but State Jr. moved away. Magneto ducks down and throws a hook to the body but State Jr. moves away.
That's one minute gone in the round. State Jr. tries to score a power double leg takedown but Magneto sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten State Jr. somewhat. Magneto looks to land a combination but State Jr. avoids it well. Magneto keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Maximus Magneto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gunner State Jr.. State Jr. tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Magneto misses with an uppercut. State Jr. changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Magneto tries to avoid it but State Jr. manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Magneto to the ground. Magneto escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. State Jr. throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

State Jr. only half commits to the counter leg kick. Magneto changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Magneto misses with an uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. State Jr. checks a leg kick. No luck for State Jr. with that takedown attempt. State Jr. gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Magneto counters by clinching up. Magneto is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. State Jr. is defending well for now. Magneto throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but State Jr. blocks it with crossed arms. State Jr. is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Magneto to keep the fight standing. Magneto working some nice short punches in the clinch. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! State Jr. ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. State Jr. no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. State Jr. throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Magneto escapes and throws State Jr.'s legs to the side, diving into side control! State Jr. is looking to reverse the position. Magneto wants to control but State Jr. is keeping him busy. Gunner State Jr. has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. State Jr. struggling a bit here. Magneto wants to lay and pray for a moment but State Jr. keeps working. Magneto has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. State Jr. throws a good cross that connects.
Magneto throws a leg kick but State Jr. sees it coming and checks it nicely. State Jr. feints the counter takedown. A nice inside leg kick there by Magneto. That's going to slow State Jr. down. Magneto walks into a jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Magneto is looking to score with low kicks. Magneto looks to land a left hand but State Jr. moved out of range nicely. Magneto lands with a kick to the ribs.

Maximus Magneto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. State Jr. shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Magneto sprawls well. Magneto wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. State Jr. gets slowly back to his feet. Maximus Magneto is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Magneto stuffs the takedown. Magneto lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Magneto closes the distance and pushes State Jr. back into the cage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. State Jr. is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Magneto gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. State Jr. blocks a body shot from Magneto. State Jr. tries to pull guard but Magneto won't allow it.

Maximus Magneto dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Magneto lands a head shot. Magneto looks to score with a jab to the body but State Jr. is just out of range. Magneto with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
State Jr. shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Magneto throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Magneto looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Magneto's corner calls for a 1-2. Magneto obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! State Jr. crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Magneto - the referee stops the clock and State Jr. gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Magneto. State Jr. manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. State Jr.'s leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. State Jr. avoids the head kick by Magneto.
State Jr. fails miserably with a takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Magneto moves out of range of the leg kick from State Jr.. Magneto avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Maximus Magneto is winning the standup battle so far. State Jr. shoots for a takedown but Magneto saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. and Magneto makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. State Jr. really felt that one! Magneto fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Magneto lands a leg kick that knocks State Jr. off balance momentarily. Magneto displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from State Jr.. That's three minutes gone in the round. Magneto throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Magneto looks to throw a body kick and State Jr. counters with a nice uppercut. Magneto wants to land a leg kick but State Jr. is out of range. Nice body punch from Magneto. Magneto slaps away a takedown attempt from State Jr., before circling back to the center of the mat. Magneto throws a quick inside leg kick. Nice body kick from Magneto. A telegraphed takedown attempt from State Jr. is defended easily by Magneto. Magneto tried to counter with a leg kick but State Jr. avoided it. State Jr. is wobbling all over the place through exhaustion. Will he make it to the final bell? Magneto throws a front kick that sends State Jr. stumbling back into the cage.

State Jr. misses with a left hand and Magneto makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Magneto thows a body kick. State Jr. tries to catch it but that hurt him. Magneto keeps State Jr. at a distance using the push kick. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! State Jr. tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Magneto defends well and State Jr. ends up having to push Magneto into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Gunner State Jr. has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Maximus Magneto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gunner State Jr.. Magneto connects with an inside leg kick. Magneto scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Magneto chopping away at his opponent's legs.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Magneto. State Jr. shrugs it off though. State Jr. drives through and clinches with Magneto against the cage.

And that's the end of the fight! Maximus Magneto showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Magneto, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
