Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Fabian Hoi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derek Legion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Legion has chosen Winds of Plague - A Cold Day in Hell/Anthems to the Apocalypse as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoi throws a jab but it's blocked by Legion.
Legion tries to work over Hoi's front leg with a kick but Hoi checks it.
Hoi just misses with a punch to the body.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Legion working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Legion is keen to just control but Hoi is a slippery customer.

Derek Legion seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Hoi.

It looks like Hoi has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

Hoi throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Legion stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hoi, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
