Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shovel Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergai Katanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Knight comes to the cage accompanied by Shovel Knight. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Arvi Lind and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body punch from Knight.
Katanov lands a two punch combo.
Katanov moves out of range as Knight throws a body kick.
Katanov on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Katanov shoots in but no luck this time.
Knight seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Knight lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Katanov looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Knight!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Katanov thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Knight tries to bench press Katanov off him but Katanov keeps the position.

Knight is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Katanov is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Katanov is looking for a sweep.
Knight laying and praying for a moment but Katanov takes advantage and regains half guard.
Knight stalling away here and it's allowed Katanov to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Katanov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Shovel Knight is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That kick from Knight tenderised Katanov's leg. Katanov is trying to keep his angry face on.

That was a close round but I would say that Shovel Knight will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Knight throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Katanov wants to clinch.
Katanov walks forward, straight into a front kick from Knight.
Katanov has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Knight.
Knight thows a body kick. Katanov tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Katanov dives in and scores a takedown into Knight's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Knight wants to sweep but no luck.
Knight throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Katanov escapes and throws Knight's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Knight is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Katanov pulls his head out easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Katanov working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Katanov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Knight has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Katanov has managed to get both his arms back between Knight's legs - danger averted.
Katanov wants to stand but Knight has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Katanov is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Knight is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Knight has escaped and now he's on top!

Katanov is looking to regain half guard here but Knight keeps moving and retains side control.
Knight passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Katanov!
Knight wants to take his opponent's back but Katanov doesn't allow it.
Knight is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Katanov has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Katanov!

Katanov has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Knight is proving hard to escape from.
Katanov stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Knight has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Katanov manages to get his head free but now Knight has transitioned to an armbar! Katanov grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Knight! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Shovel Knight!
A very excited looking Shovel Knight made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
