And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Vasili Komaroff!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Chris Saunders and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Komaroff misses the jab.
A shot to the body from Obukhov misses
and Komaroff counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Obukhov throws a sloppy head kick and Komaroff moves out of range easily.
Komaroff changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Komaroff scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Obukhov doesn't seem bothered though.
Komaroff scores with the left hand. Obukhov knows he should have avoided that one.
Obukhov gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Komaroff.
Obukhov takes one to the side of the head.
Obukhov is rocked!
Komaroff looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Komaroff changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Obukhov looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Oh Obukhov is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee asks Komaroff politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Komaroff prefers to stall for the moment though.
Obukhov takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Komaroff cracks Obukhov with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Komaroff immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Obukhov is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Komaroff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vasili Komaroff!

Our winner, Vasili Komaroff, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
