Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Erik Kramer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mad Rob!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kramer throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rob sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Rob let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Rob has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Rob misses with an uppercut. Kramer saw that one coming.
Kramer connects with an inside leg kick.
Kramer takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Kramer blocks the body kick.
Kramer throws a series of punches but Rob avoids them all with ease.
Rob rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kramer counters with a right hand to the body.
Kramer thows a left - swing and a miss!

Kramer moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Rob on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Rob throws a head kick but Kramer moves out of range.
Kramer seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Kramer throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rob fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kramer.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kramer moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Rob throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Kramer gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Rob.
Rob checks a low kick from Kramer.

Rob misses with a double jab
and Kramer counters with a straight right hand.
Rob keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Kramer swings for the body but Rob moves out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Rob. Kramer does a little dance to reset his feet.
Rob uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kramer.
Rob moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Rob misses with a straight left.
Rob displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kramer throws out the jab.
Kramer lands a slapping body shot.
Rob lands with a shot to the body.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rob throws a solid leg kick but Kramer takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Rob.
Rob slips a jab from Kramer.
Rob throws a body shot but no joy.
Kramer fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Rob on the side of the head.
Kramer jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Kramer ducks under a wild hook from Rob.
Kramer swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Rob lands a leg kick that knocks Kramer off balance momentarily.
Rob connects with the punch.
Kramer tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Rob wants to counter the offense by Kramer and move into the clinch position.
Rob getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Rob waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kramer.
Rob fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kramer manages to avoid it.
Rob tries to land a front kick but Kramer steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Rob blocks a low kick nicely.
Mad Rob seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rob staying out of range there.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kramer ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rob moves away.
Rob on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Kramer takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Rob swings widly with a right hand
and Kramer counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Kramer thuds a left hand into Rob's body.
Rob is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Rob throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kramer tried to counter with a leg kick but Rob avoided it.
Rob misses with a left hand
and Kramer counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A combination from Rob does no damage.
Rob misses with a kick to the body.
Kramer appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Rob throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Rob misses the jab.
Kramer swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Rob is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Kramer had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Rob throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kramer counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rob connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Kramer blocks a low kick nicely.
Kramer comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Rob misses with a straight right.
A counter left hand to the body from Kramer misses its target.
Kramer loads up on a big right hand but Rob slips the punch.
Kramer tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Rob throws a sloppy head kick and Kramer moves out of range easily.
Rob drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Kramer misses with a straight right.
Rob throws a looping overhand right but Kramer ducks down to avoid it.
Kramer fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Rob is out of range.
Rob slips under a jab.
Kramer scores with a body shot.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
A decent looking cross lands there for Kramer.


Rob is rocked!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Erik Kramer will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Rob is still on wobbly legs! Can Kramer finish him?
Rob is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

and Kramer counters with a big right hand! Oh Rob is in trouble here! Kramer follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
