Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ice Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Milat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ice Drago! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ivan Milat! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Steve Montenegro and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Milat misses with a body shot
enabling Drago to counter with a crisp jab. Drago keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Milat. Drago will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Milat fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Milat misses with a straight left. Drago looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Jab by Milat. Milat scores with a head kick. Drago tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Drago drops Milat with a beautiful combination! Milat stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Drago is looking for the KO!
Milat is rocked!
It looks like Ivan Milat has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Milat wants to clinch. Milat is still on wobbly legs! Can Drago finish him? Drago ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Milat moves away. Milat takes a swing at Drago's ribcage but misses. Milat seems to have recovered his senses. Milat lands an overhand right. Milat wants to slow Drago down by chopping away at his legs. Ivan Milat seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Milat misses with a low kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. A thudding body kick lands there by Milat!
Milat moves out of range of the body kick from Drago.
A low kick from Milat misses and Drago counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. A slapping body kick lands there for Milat. Milat scores with a jab to the body. Drago takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Milat tries to land a leg kick but Drago saw it coming and moves away.
Milat will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Milat throws a body kick that misses and Drago counters with a good low kick that Milat was not able to check. Drago takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Drago cracks Milat with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Milat looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Drago finish him?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Drago misses the shot to the body. Drago swinging wildly here.
A bone on bone clash there as Milat blocks the leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Milat throws a leg kick but Drago checks it. Drago connects with an inside leg kick. Milat takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Milat connects with an inside leg kick. Milat ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Drago moves away. Drago takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Drago goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Milat is looking to land body kicks. Drago is looking to land body kicks. Good standup being displayed there by Drago as he connects with a hook. Milat misses with a wild body shot. Drago takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Milat wants to clinch up but Drago keeps it at a distance. Drago fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Milat is out of range. Drago takes a swing at Milat's ribcage but misses. Milat fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Drago, pushing him back against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Drago tries a body shot but Milat blocks it.

With the fighters up against the cage, Milat throws an elbow but misses. Milat is pushing Drago up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Drago leaning against his opponent.
Milat fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Drago lands with a right to the head. Milat lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Drago pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Milat throws the kick towards the body but Drago avoids it. Drago throws a looping overhand right but Milat ducks down to avoid it. Milat scores with a leg kick.
Milat lands with a right hand. Milat throws a head kick that misses. Drago ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Drago throwing a counter right hand but Milat manages to avoid it. Milat lands a nice shot to the body.
Drago is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Milat misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Drago.
Milat scores with a sloppy right hand. Drago should have avoided that one. This has been an exciting period of action! Milat tries to clinch but Drago is having none of it. Drago is looking to counter punch. Milat tries to close the distance and clinch up but Drago swats him away and circles back towards the center. Drago jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Milat throws a shot from downtown. Drago moves away and avoids it. Drago half committed to a counter leg kick. Milat has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. A head kick misses from Milat. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Drago - that will leave a mark!
Milat misses with the combination.
Milat walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Drago checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. A left lands for Drago. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Drago moves away from the strike by Milat. Drago tried to counter with a leg kick but Milat avoided it. Sloppy strikes from Drago. Those never looked like landing. Milat throws a lazy head kick and Drago counters with a slapping leg kick. Drago lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ice Drago will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Ivan Milat's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Drago went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Milat throws a sloppy head kick and Drago counters with a head kick that drops Milat to the mat! Milat scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly! Milat throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Drago throws a nice inside leg kick. Drago moves out of range of the strikes. Drago walks into a stiff left hand from Milat. Milat takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Drago connects with a right hand. Milat shakes it off. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Milat misses the jab. Ice Drago is winning the standup battle so far. Milat misses with a hook
and Drago counters with a deadly accurate combination that rocks Milat badly! He tries to strike back but Drago puts an end to that with another precision combo that knocks Milat out cold! Oh man, Milat will never hear the end of this one!
