Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kabuto Wakizashi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Azadshatru Singh!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Colin Fotheringham and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Singh scores with the left hand. Wakizashi knows he should have avoided that one.
Wakizashi lands with a thumping leg kick.
Wakizashi throws a hook but Singh blocks it.
Wakizashi throws a body shot but no joy.
Singh looks to land a left hand but Wakizashi moved out of range nicely.
Singh closes the distance and clinches up with Wakizashi, looking for a takedown. Singh pushes Wakizashi against the cage but Wakizashi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Wakizashi throws out a leg kick but Singh moves out of range and Wakizashi only half commits.
Wakizashi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Singh is looking to slow Wakizashi down with leg kicks.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Wakizashi does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Wakizashi takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Singh darts in looking for a takedown but Wakizashi gets double underhooks and turns Singh into the cage.

Well Singh has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
