Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Burt Guth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sven Hansson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Guth comes to the cage accompanied by Alva Noto - Module 7. Sven Hansson struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 146.8lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Sven Hansson is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
27 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Burt Guth! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sven Hansson! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hansson throws a quick inside leg kick. Hansson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! An inside leg kick from Hansson misses. Hansson tried to score with a low kick but Guth checks it. Guth attempts a counter takedown but Hansson avoids it well and moves away. Hansson throws a low kick, looking for Guth's leg but Guth calmly moves out of range. Guth attempts a counter takedown but Hansson avoids it well and moves away. Hansson cracks Guth with a right hand to the side of the head. Hansson swings for the body but Guth moves out of range.
Hansson throws a big shot that misses. Hansson just misses with a punch to the body.
Guth feinted with a counter takedown. Guth dodges the punch combination from Hansson.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hansson looks to land a left hand but Guth moved out of range nicely. Hansson waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Guth. Guth feinted with a counter takedown.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hansson throws a leg kick that is checked and Guth decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hansson's guard. Hansson wants to get back to his feet but Guth passes into half guard.
Guth thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hansson's head. Guth is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hansson defends it well. Guth trying to control from half guard but Hansson is working away. Guth thows a huge punch but Hansson dodges it nicely.
Guth throws a strike but Hansson avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Hansson working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Guth. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hansson can do anything to dispel that myth. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Guth accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Guth forces his way into half guard. Guth works his way into side control. Guth throws an elbow but Hansson slips to the side and avoids it well. Guth is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hansson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Guth tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hansson is not content to let Guth control the position. The strikes coming from Guth are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Guth is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hansson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Guth really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Hansson is being controlled here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hansson parries the strikes from Guth easily there. Guth is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Hansson to escape.
Guth takes a little break here. Hansson wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Guth scores with punches from side control. Guth tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Guth has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Guth working the head and body with strikes. Guth has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Guth has an Americana. Hansson didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Guth is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Guth hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
