Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stewart Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Collier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hunter comes to the cage accompanied by Hair of the Dog/ Nazareth. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Stewart Hunter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Don Collier! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Collier throws a lazy body kick and Hunter counters with a lovely straight right hand! Collier throws a leg kick but Hunter checks it. Hunter attempts a counter takedown but Collier avoids it well and moves away. Hunter closes the distance and clinches. Collier misses with some punches.
Collier throws a punch but it's blocked by Hunter. Good body shot from Hunter.
Collier fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Collier goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Collier is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Hunter is defending well for now. Hunter tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Collier's elbow. Hunter has clasped his hands together around Collier's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Collier is trying to get back to half guard. Hunter working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Collier gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Collier is looking to improve his position.

That's one minute gone in the round. Hunter lands with a punch from half guard. Hunter lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Hunter not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Hunter working over Collier with some ground and pound. Collier looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Collier wants to improve his position but Hunter is controlling well.
Collier regains full guard. Nicely done. We've been hearing that Hunter has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Collier is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Collier throws his legs up looking for a submission but Hunter uses it to pass to side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Hunter landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Collier is looking for a sweep. Hunter lands a strong strike to the head of Collier. That's dazed him! Hunter looking to finish here. Collier is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Hunter lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
