The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banner finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Banner thumps Falt with a low kick.
Falt throws an overhand right that lands on Banner's shoulder, as Banner tries to avoid the shot.
A little jabbing left from Banner on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Banner tries a head kick but it misses.
Banner uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Falt.

and Banner counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Falt throws a left and a right that both miss
and Banner makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Falt really felt that one!
Falt slips a jab and a cross from Banner.
Falt misses with an uppercut. Banner saw that one coming.
Falt works the jab nicely.
Dee Falt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Banner connects with a solid leg kick.

Banner does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Falt throws a hook but Banner avoids it easily.
Banner misses with a hook. Falt ducked under it nicely.

Falt is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Falt displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Banner throws out the jab.
Falt is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Banner's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.

Banner throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Falt counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Banner lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Falt has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Falt and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Falt swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Banner clinches.
Falt tries to pull guard but Banner holds him up against the ropes and eventually Falt drops back down to his feet.
Falt jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Banner walks away with a smile on his face. Falt gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Falt misses with a jab, cross combination.

Banner misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Banner throws a leg kick
and Falt cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Banner counters with a nice uppercut.
Banner lands a jab.
Banner has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Falt throws a jab but it's blocked by Banner.

Banner was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Falt cracks Banner with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.

Falt catches Banner with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

After the fight, Dee Falt was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
