Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kron Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Armondo Munoz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Armondo Munoz will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!

With a record of 10 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kron Silva!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Armondo Munoz!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Sano and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva shoots for a takedown but Munoz saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Silva takes one to the side of the head.
Silva uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Munoz.
Silva uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Silva takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Munoz let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

Munoz has his foot on Silva's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Silva works his way back into a safe position though.
