Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alvin Loredo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boyko Kersikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 1, fighting out of New York, Alvin Loredo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Boyko Kersikov!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, John Roberts and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loredo has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Kersikov.
Loredo misses with a few strikes there.
Kersikov wants to slow Loredo down by chopping away at his legs.
Loredo goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Loredo swings and misses with a hook to the body.
It seemed like Kersikov was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Loredo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kersikov moves away.
A little jabbing left from Kersikov on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Loredo misses with a double jab.
Loredo fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kersikov has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

We've been informed that Kersikov has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Boyko Kersikov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well Kersikov has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
