Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tom Cirus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerome Bruny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cirus comes into the arena with Lonely Boy - The Black Keys blaring out of the sound system. Jerome Bruny has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cirus keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Bruny shoots in looking for a takedown but Cirus manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bruny's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Bruny tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bruny has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Cirus will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tom Cirus.
