Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tonton Hong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dee Stroya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hong's entrance music is Hong Entrance Song. A fine choice. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
24 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tonton Hong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
29 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dee Stroya! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hong drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Hong looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Stroya looks to land a right hand but Hong moved out of range. Hong appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Hong shoots in for a takedown but Stroya shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Hong slips a straight right by Stroya. Hong lands a front kick. Stroya fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hong has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Stroya misses with a straight left. Hong throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Hong drives through with a takedown into guard. Stroya has control of Hong's left arm, preventing Hong from doing any damage. Hong trying to control the position from guard on top but Stroya is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stroya wants to sweep here but Hong controlling him for the moment. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Stroya holds on and takes a little breather. Stroya tries to land a sweep but no joy. Hong throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Stroya works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Stroya looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Hong wants to pass the guard but Stroya is keeping the position. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Hong wants to control from the top but Stroya keeps moving.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Hong tried to score with a low kick but Stroya checks it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Hong looks for a takedown but Stroya sprawls well. Stroya swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Stroya is looking to score with low kicks. It looked like Hong wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Stroya throws a low kick but Hong avoids it. Stroya dodges the punch combination from Hong.
Stroya doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Hong tries to land a leg kick but Stroya saw it coming and moves away.

and Hong connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Stroya swings for the body but Hong moves out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stroya scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Hong on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Stroya. Stroya obviously looking to wear him down.
A solid body kick from Stroya. Hong swings away with a leg kick that misses. Stroya works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Stroya thows a left - swing and a miss! A bone on bone clash there as Hong blocks the leg kick.
Hong appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Hong ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Stroya throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Hong sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Decent striking displayed by Hong there. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Stroya fails with the takedown. Hong changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Hong lands the left hand. Hong with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

As Stroya backs away, Hong returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Stroya just misses with a punch to the body.
Hong tried to counter with a leg kick but Stroya avoided it. Hong leaves Stroya with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Dee Stroya will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Stroya throws a lazy head kick and Hong makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. A low kick from Hong is predictable there and Stroya counters with a nice low kick that buckles Hong's knee momentarily. Stroya swinging wildly here.
Stroya slips under a jab from Hong. Stroya blocks a jab. Hong connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Stroya jabs Hong right on the nose. Hong blinks but takes it well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stroya has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hong finds it's way round the side to connect with Stroya's head. Nice jab there from Stroya. Hong misses with a body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round. Stroya is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
A lazy left from Stroya finds it's target. That kick from Hong tenderised Stroya's leg. Stroya is trying to keep his angry face on. Dee Stroya seems to be getting the better of the standup. Hong tries to score with a low kick but Stroya moves his leg out of the way. Hong looks to land a left hand but Stroya moved out of range nicely. Hong swats away the attempt to clinch by Stroya. Hong tries to counter with a takedown but Stroya is quick to defend against it. Stroya missing with a left hand there. Hong was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Hong connects with a single shot there. Stroya scores with a spinning back kick! Stroya tries to clinch but Hong is having none of it.

Stroya looks to score with a jab to the body but Hong is just out of range. Hong was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Stroya lands an overhand right. Stroya bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hong throws a lazy body kick and Stroya counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Stroya tries to land a leg kick but Hong saw it coming and moves away.

Hong dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Stroya. That did some damage! An inside leg kick lands from Stroya. Stroya moves into the clinch successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stroya tries to work over Hong's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Stroya working some nice short punches in the clinch. Hong blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Stroya tries to throw a body punch but Hong avoids it by throwing Stroya back against the cage. Hong swings wildly with an uppercut but Stroya uses good head movement to avoid it. Stroya lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Stroya lands with a short shot to the head. A left hand lands to the body for Stroya.

Stroya lands a nice shot to the body. Hong can't find room to land a body shot as Stroya controls the action.

A close second round but Dee Stroya will probably get the nod - 10:9. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! And we move into the final round!

Stroya throws out a loose jab but Hong uses good head movement to avoid it. A left and a right from Stroya both land. Nice combination.
It looks like Tonton Hong has been cut. The fighters circle momentarily. Hong darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Hong moves out of range as Stroya strikes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hong avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Hong gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Hong looks for a takedown but Stroya sprawls well.

Stroya gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Hong to score an easy takedown into full guard. Hong trying to control the position from guard on top but Stroya is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hong trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Stroya is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Stroya keeps trying to improve his position. Stroya trying to keep a closed guard but Hong is proving a slippery customer.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Hong trying to control but Stroya is working from the bottom. Hong passes Stroya's left leg - he's now in half guard. Hong thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Stroya is looking for a sweep. Hong is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hong throws a sloppy head kick and Stroya moves out of range easily.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tonton Hong. I think Stroya has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
