Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jerry Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jeff Probst!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Dirk Anderson and Sandra Marshall.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Probst swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Probst throws a leg kick but Johnson sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Probst throws a sloppy body shot
and Johnson counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Probst swings widly with a right hand
and Johnson counters with a nice uppercut.
Johnson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Probst.
Probst moves away from the strike by Johnson.
Probst feints the counter takedown.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Probst lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Johnson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Johnson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Johnson misses the shot to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nice shot by Johnson.
Johnson bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Johnson jabs Probst right on the nose. Probst blinks but takes it well.
Johnson pivots, looking for a leg kick but Probst is out of range and Johnson settles back down.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Johnson connects with a looping right hand.
Probst takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Johnson misses with a double jab

and Probst counters with a nice double leg into side control. Johnson won't be happy with that.
Johnson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Probst wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Probst wants to control but Johnson is keeping him busy.

Probst has hold of Johnson's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Johnson tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Probst cranks the arm and Johnson screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Johnson, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Jeff Probst!
