Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jamey Francisco!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jordon Carter!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Bart Greer and Dirk Anderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter darts in looking for a takedown but Francisco gets double underhooks and turns Carter into the cage.

Francisco clinches up against the cage.
Francisco prevents a takedown attempt there.
Carter is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Francisco is keeping busy.

Francisco breaks the clinch.
Francisco fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Francisco scores with a sloppy right hand. Carter should have avoided that one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Francisco lands with a nice body punch.

Francisco moves into the clinch.
Francisco digs a right hand into Carter's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Carter's gas tank.

Francisco manages to break the clinch.
Carter is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Francisco rushes Carter and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Carter's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Carter gets tackled into the cage by Francisco. Francisco maintains the clinch.
Francisco cracks Carter with a nice body shot.
Carter tries to break free but Francisco pushes him back against the cage.
Francisco wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Carter has him pressed against the cage.
A head punch on the inside from Carter fails to land.

Francisco will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Carter up against the cage.
The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Francisco for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.
Carter is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Carter tries to land a knee to the head but Francisco blocks with his arms.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Jamey Francisco.
Francisco throws a right and a left that Carter avoids nicely.

Francisco gets a clinch.

Francisco pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Jamey Francisco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A lazy left from Francisco finds it's target.
Francisco takes a swing at Carter's ribcage but misses.
Francisco walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Carter checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Carter throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Francisco was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Carter tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Francisco closes the distance and clinches.
Francisco blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Francisco breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
BAM! Francisco delivers a spinning backfist that drops Carter like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Spinning Backfist). Jamey Francisco!
