Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Vincent Oketch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Blake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blake has chosen Dead Man as his entrance music. Vincent Oketch could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to William Blake's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vincent Oketch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, William Blake! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blake throws a leg kick but Oketch checks it. And Oketch counters with a quick kick to the body but Blake blocks it. Blake lands an overhand right. Blake throws a leg kick that is checked and Oketch counters with an outside leg kick.
William Blake seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fight stays on the outside here - Oketch looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Oketch throws out a leg kick but Blake moves out of range and Oketch only half commits. Blake connects with a body shot. Blake rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Oketch counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Oketch tries a low kick but Blake avoids it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Blake throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

and Oketch counters with an inside leg kick. Blake throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oketch lands a front kick. Blake misses the jab. Blake throws a body punch but Oketch moves out of range. Blake looks to throw the jab but Oketch is out of range. Oketch looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit. Oketch takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Blake throws out a powerful jab. A good leg kick by Blake. Oketch connects with a body shot. Oketch is looking to clinch but Blake is avoiding it.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Blake swings for the body but Oketch moves out of range.
Oketch fires out a quick counter leg kick but Blake just manages to avoid it. Blake fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Oketch is out of range. Oketch forces Blake back against the cage and clinches. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Blake creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Blake lands a hook to the side of the head. Blake misses with the head strike.
Oketch misses with a punch on the inside.
Oketch has Blake pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Blake manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Oketch misses with a short punch on the inside. Blake misses with a hook to the ribs.

Blake scores with a shoulder strike. Blake lands with a right to the head. Blake tightens his grip and picks Oketch up, before dumping him to the ground. Oketch manages to land in guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Oketch is on top in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blake is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Oketch controlling from the top position. Blake isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Oketch stacks Blake on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Oketch! Blake is looking to regain half guard here but Oketch keeps moving and retains side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Oketch is working Blake over with some ground and pound from side control. Blake regains half guard. Oketch content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Blake has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
William Blake dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Blake tries to sprawl but Oketch drives through with a takedown into half guard. Blake trying to hold on to Oketch's head to control him but Oketch postures up.

That's one minute gone in the round. Blake looking to control but Oketch passes into half guard.
Oketch with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Oketch trying to control from half guard but Blake is working away. Oketch wants to pass to mount but Blake is defending the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Blake is looking for a sweep. Oketch is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Blake slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Oketch stays in close to Blake's body and controls the position. Oketch postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Blake throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oketch fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Oketch backing away here, and Blake unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Blake feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Blake postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Oketch keeping moving, preventing Blake from controlling successfully. Blake sitting in guard, not really doing much. Blake being controlled here momentarily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Oketch has momentary wrist control but Blake slips an elbow through the middle. Blake engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Oketch has control of Blake's left arm, preventing Blake from doing any damage. Blake is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Blake is pushing down on Oketch's leg trying to pass to half guard. Oketch is fighting to maintain full guard but Blake has managed to sneak the leg through. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but William Blake will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Oketch lands a nice leg kick that just misses Blake's sensitive parts. Blake shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Oketch fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. The fighters circling - Blake throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Blake walks into a jab. Oketch dives in for a single leg takedown but Blake sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Blake jabs at Oketch's body. Oketch moves out of range as Blake strikes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Blake misses with an uppercut. Oketch saw that one coming. Blake smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Blake scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Oketch doesn't seem bothered though. Blake fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Oketch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oketch scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Blake scores with a jab to the body. Blake throws a body punch but Oketch moves out of range. Oketch lands with a cross. Blake has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Blake fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Oketch to the ground. Blake is now in Oketch's guard. Oketch is adopting a defensive guard. Oketch keeping moving, preventing Blake from controlling successfully. Oketch working for a triangle but Blake defends it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oketch is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Blake with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Blake forces his way into half guard. Oketch is controlling Blake's trapped leg to prevent Blake from advancing to side control. Vincent Oketch has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oketch trying to hold on to Blake's head to control him but Blake postures up.
Blake wants to lay and pray for a moment but Oketch keeps working. Oketch is looking to improve his position.
Oketch is positioning himself well to prevent Blake advancing to mount. Oketch is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Blake looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Blake winds up and cracks Oketch with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Oketch is controlling Blake's position as best he can from this difficult position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Blake controlling the action here.
And that's the end of the fight! William Blake comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Blake has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
