Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Devon Sherwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacob Whitehorse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sherwood kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Devil on my shoulder. Devon Sherwood had a look across the ring there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Hirohito Nitta and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whitehorse takes a swing at Sherwood's ribcage but misses.
Whitehorse throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sherwood's waist but Sherwood gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Whitehorse off to one side.
Sherwood definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Whitehorse does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sherwood is bucking up trying to escape but Whitehorse cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Oh Sherwood is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

A relieved looking Jacob Whitehorse thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
In defeat, Devon Sherwood stepped up to the mic, saying 'Devil takes care of his own...,I'll be back!!!'.
