Ramos has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramos staying out of range there.
Ramos looks winded!
Hughes looks to throw the jab but Ramos is out of range.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hughes.
Hughes scores with the left hand. Ramos knows he should have avoided that one.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hughes, as that shot connected.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hughes closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ramos circles away.
Hughes changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ramos looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Hughes lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Ramos really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hughes. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hughes in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Ramos is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
