Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ken Roussow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Cenk John!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Bart Greer and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Roussow has John up against the cage in a clinch.
Roussow lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
John wants to get back to striking at distance but Roussow won't allow it.
John wants to stall.
A right hand to the body from Roussow.
John misses with a hook to the ribs.
John misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Roussow.
Roussow lands a body shot in the clinch.
John working aggressively here.
Roussow tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
John tries to break the clinch but Roussow is controlling the position.
Roussow works on John's body with a couple of short punches.
Roussow definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Roussow has dropped down and is working for a takedown. John is trying to keep an underhook but Roussow manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Roussow seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Roussow looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks John with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Roussow has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Roussow connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused John some visible discomfort.

John is trying to get back to half guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Roussow in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Roussow works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Roussow slows the pace down.
John is working to avoid the ground and pound but Roussow connects with a decent elbow.

Roussow is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but John is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
John is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ken Roussow dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


John misses with a wild combination.
John walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Roussow throws a right and a left that both miss.
Roussow digs a good hook to John's body.
John looks for the body kick but Roussow saw that one coming.
Roussow feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Johns jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Roussow shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. John eats them both and turns towards Roussow to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.


John is rocked!

Roussow is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - John is in big trouble! Roussow is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking John. Poor guy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Ken Roussow!
