Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Julles Martins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Yabuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Julles Martins looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Julles Martins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Joe Yabuki! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Santiago Holmes and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yabuki stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Yabuki wants it to stay on the feet. Martins fails to land the takedown. Yabuki gets in close and instigates a clinch. Yabuki drags the fight down to the ground.
Yabuki managing to control the position. Yabuki kicks Martins off and gets to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Martins closes the distance and clinches up with Yabuki, looking for a takedown. Martins pushes Yabuki against the cage but Yabuki circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Yabuki lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Julles Martins. That's going to take a lot out of him. Martins lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Yabuki circles away quickly and effectively. Martins is breathing heavily. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Martins is defended easily by Yabuki. Yabuki throws a counter combo.

Yabuki breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Yabuki thuds his shin into the meat of Martins's side. Yabuki gets a double leg takedown into Martins's guard. Yabuki is standing up over Martins. Martins looks to escape but Yabuki dives into side control.

Yabuki just content to control the position. Martins takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Martins is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Yabuki lands a few punches from side control. Martins looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Yabuki works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Martins is working to avoid the ground and pound but Yabuki connects with a decent elbow.

Yabuki shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Martins being controlled here, momentarily. Martins escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Yabuki gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Martins being controlled here, momentarily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Yabuki slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Yabuki scoring with strikes but Martins is staying in there. Yabuki really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Martins. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Martins takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Yabuki controlling from the full mount. Yabuki looking to finish Martins with some ground and pound. This is bad for Martins! Martins is bucking up trying to escape but Yabuki cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Martins is rocked! Yabuki with the ground and pound from mount. Oh Martins is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Martins taking shots to the head. A big strike lands for Yabuki! That's really hurt Martins and he's turned his back - Yabuki keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Yabuki jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
