Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Kint (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodrigo Machado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodrigo Machado has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Daniel Kint! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Rodrigo Machado! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Chad Campbell and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kint connects with an inside leg kick. Machado takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Kint thuds a left hand into Machado's body. Kint connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Kint tests Machado's chin there with a solid looking shot. Machado looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Kint misses with a straight left. Machado steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Kint. Kint lands a nice shot that snaps Machado's head back.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Machado has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. The fighters circling - Kint throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Machado feints the counter takedown. Kint throws out a loose jab but Machado uses good head movement to avoid it. And Machado tries to counter it with a takedown but Kint pushes his down on his head and steps out. Kint lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kint paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Kint throws an off balance right hand
and Machado counters with a takedown into side control. Machado tries to move to mount but Kint blocks the move with his legs. Kint has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Machado content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Kint tries to get back to half guard but can't. Machado is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Machado misses with the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Machado in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Kint holding on. Machado working away. Machado works to advance to full mount. Kint defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Machado unloading with bombs! Kint tries to get back to half guard but can't. Machado landing strikes, looking to finish!
Kint is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kint is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Oh Kint is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Machado is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Kint can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Machado postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Kint in real trouble here! The ref calls for Kint to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rodrigo Machado!
