2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jon Parlow! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Michael Johnstone and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parlow lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Parlow stuffs the takedown. Parlow lands a big uppercut and King crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but King looks OK. Parlow waves King back to his feet!
King is rocked!
It looks like Martin Luther King has been cut. Parlow lands a nice hook to King's body. King takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Oh King is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Parlow looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Parlow lands a big right hand that sends King crashing to the mat! Parlow stays standing though and waves King back to his feet! King leaves his chin hanging out and Parlow seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! King crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jon Parlow! Jon Parlow decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well. Martin Luther King was interviewed post fight and said 'It was a great fight, i give credit and respect to the opponent, he is a great fighter, i thanks the organization for the opportunity to participate in this epic competition.'.
