Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lester Jangles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JR Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adams comes into a darkened arena with his song building. 'Looking For The Stone' by Dry Branch Fire Squad kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
34 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lester Jangles! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
23 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, JR Adams! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Jeff Smith and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Adams misses with a hook
and Jangles counters with a lovely shot to the body. Good shot there by Jangles.
It looks like JR Adams has been cut. Jangles misses with an uppercut. Adams saw that one coming. And Adams tries to counter it with a takedown but Jangles pushes his down on his head and steps out. A shot to the liver by Jangles. Beautiful body shot. Jangles connects with an inside leg kick. Adams has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Jangles tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Adams manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Jangles throws a left and a right that both miss
and Adams decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jangles's guard. Adams is fighting to break Jangles's control of his arms but Jangles is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Adams makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Jangles seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Adams tries to free his leg and advance position but Jangles is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Adams in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Jangles keeping full guard, as Adams tries to pass. Adams content to stall in guard here. Jangles seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Jangles seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Jangles avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Jangles utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Jangles has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jangles manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Adams manages to get himself to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Adams can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Jangles controls the pace. Adams is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Jangles is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Adams looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jangles sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Jangles tries to clinch and Adams counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Jangles! Jangles stops Adams from passing to mount. Adams in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Jangles gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Adams throwing shots but Jangles is blocking nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jangles holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Adams looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Adams keeps trying to improve his position. Jangles trying to control but Adams postures up.
Adams working over Jangles with some ground and pound. Jangles looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jangles is trying to control but can't.
Adams seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Adams thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jangles's head. Adams is trying to control the action in half guard but Jangles is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
JR Adams dominated that round. The cut man is working on JR Adams's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Adams crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Jangles - the referee stops the clock and Adams gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Jangles. Adams manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Jangles takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Adams walks forward, straight into a front kick from Jangles. Jangles throws a head kick but Adams moves out of range.
Jangles lands a front kick. Jangles slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Jangles lands with an uppercut that bounces Adams off the cage and back into range. Adams throws a nice outside leg kick. Adams will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Adams on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Jangles. Jangles obviously looking to wear him down.
Jangles turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jangles dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Adams. That did some damage! Jangles moves into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jangles misses with a short punch on the inside. Jangles lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Adams stalling in the clinch but Jangles improves position. Jangles looking to throw knees to the head but Adams is blocking nicely.
Adams is trying to maintain a safe position but Jangles gets an underhook and turns Adams into the cage. Adams wants to break the clinch but can't.
Adams tries to circle away but Jangles has him pinned against the cage. Jangles has Adams pressed against the cage, preventing Adams from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Jangles has a couple of punches blocked by Adams.
Adams prevents a body shot from Jangles. Jangles misses with a hook from the clinch. A short left from Jangles. A head punch on the inside from Jangles fails to land. Jangles tries a body shot but Adams blocks it.
Jangles misses with a short punch on the inside. Adams is trying to break the clinch but Jangles has him pressed against the cage. Adams tries to break free but Jangles pushes him back against the cage. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Jangles.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jangles throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Adamss head. Adams breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jangles scores with a kick to the midsection. Jangles getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Adams fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Jangles works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Adams shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Adams takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Adams is rocked! Jangles lands with a cross. Adams is still on wobbly legs! Can Jangles finish him? Adams steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Jangles. That one must have hurt. Adams is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Adams shoots in but no luck this time. Jangles rushes Adams and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Adams seems to have recovered his senses. Jangles drops Adams onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Adams is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet! Jangles creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Adams's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Adams drops to his knees and Jangles pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lester Jangles! Lester Jangles is the new middleweight champion! Lester Jangles was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed. JR Adams spoke after the fight, saying 'Ain't this terrible?!'.
