Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dmitry Borschev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hans Beck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Beck's choice of entrance music: Sepultura - Roots Boody Roots. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

27 - 11 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hans Beck!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borschev is looking to chop away at Beck's legs.
Beck misses the body punch
and Borschev cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Hans Beck has been cut.
A solid leg kick lands there for Borschev.
Borschev has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Gym Beam in the buildup to the fight.
A slapping leg kick lands for Borschev.
Beck looks to score with a jab to the body but Borschev is just out of range.
Borschev doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Borschev fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Beck has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Beck throws a sloppy head kick and Borschev moves out of range easily.
Borschev will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Borschev takes a kick to the side of the head.
Beck takes a swing at Borschev's ribcage but misses.
Beck has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
A swing and a miss from Beck.
Beck misses with an uppercut. Borschev saw that one coming.
Borschev looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

enabling Beck to counter with a crisp jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Borschev checks a leg kick.
Beck checks the leg kick nicely there.

Borschev walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Beck checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Beck lands a slapping body shot.
Beck fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Borschev manages to avoid it.
Beck pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Borschev stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Beck lands with a nice body kick.
Beck throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Beck scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Borschev is breathing heavily.
The fighters circle momentarily. Beck darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
It looks like Dmitry Borschev has been cut.

Beck lands a slapping body shot.
Beck fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Beck works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Beck is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Borschev rather than just go for the knockout.
Beck feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Borschev sprawling to the canvas! Borschev rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Beck finish him?!
Borschev is rocked!
Beck comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Oh Borschev is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Beck lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Borschev seems to have got his legs back now.
Beck shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Borschev takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
A shot to the body from Borschev misses
and Beck counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Hans Beck!
