Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jake Belcher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, DJ Jordan!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Santiago Holmes and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belcher uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jordan.
Jordan fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Belcher.
Belcher keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Jordan.
Belcher moves forwards but Jordan connects with a nice, crisp jab.
A slow jab from Jordan misses its intended target.
Belcher tries to counter with a takedown but Jordan is quick to defend against it.
Jordan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Jordan uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Jordan gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Jordan is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Belcher controls from within his opponent's guard.
Belcher wants to control from the top but Jordan keeps moving.

Belcher's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Jordan seems keen to control Belcher's posture.

Belcher trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Belcher passes Jordan's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Belcher content to control rather than advance.
Jordan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Belcher. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Belcher prevents Jordan from improving his position.

Belcher lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Belcher has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Belcher winds up and cracks Jordan with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Jordan is in trouble now - Belcher has advanced to mount!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Belcher cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Belcher lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Belcher cracks Jordan with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Jordan takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Belcher looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Jordan covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!

A relieved looking Jake Belcher thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
