The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, David Hoff and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parlow scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Sammalkorpi shoots for a takedown but Parlow saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Parlow connects with a right hand. Sammalkorpi shakes it off.
Sammalkorpi with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Parlow to score with a decent uppercut.
Sammalkorpi shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Parlow defends it nicely.
Sammalkorpi looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Nice shot lands for Parlow.
Sammalkorpi tries for a takedown but Parlow sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Jon Parlow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tapio Sammalkorpi.
Sammalkorpi bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sammalkorpi is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Parlow is trying to escape and Sammalkorpi transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Parlow is forced to tap! Nice work there by Sammalkorpi! Very nice indeed!
