The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Steel misses.
Steel walks into a left hand.
Roussow misses the shot to the body.
A big left from Steel misses.
Steel shoots in for a takedown but Roussow shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Roussow attempts a counter takedown but Steel avoids it well and moves away.
Roussow lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Steel throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Roussow sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Roussow tries to counter with a takedown but Steel is quick to defend against it.
Victor Steel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Steel throws a series of punches but Roussow moves out of range.
Steel lands a nice hook to Roussow's body. Roussow takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Roussow dodges the punch combination from Steel.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Steel fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Steel throws a poor cross that misses
and Roussow counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Steel gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Roussow accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Roussow stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Steel throws up his legs and catches Roussow in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Roussow tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Steel! That came out of nowhere!
