The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Viljanen takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Viljanen misses with a left hand
and Viljanen takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Jouko Viljanen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Viljanen misses the shot to the body.
Parlow looks to score with a jab to the body but Viljanen is just out of range.

Viljanen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Parlow was well out of range. Poor timing from Viljanen.

Parlow takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

and Parlow counters with a nice right hand that sends Viljanen toppling to the canvas! Viljanen scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Parlow finish him?!
The cut above Jouko Viljanen's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Viljanen takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Parlow has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Viljanen finds it's way round the side to connect with Parlow's head.
Viljanen throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
An attempted straight right counter from Parlow misses the target.
Parlow slips under a jab.
Parlow flashes Viljanen a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Viljanen's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Viljanen crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Parlow punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jon Parlow!
A relieved looking Jon Parlow thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
