Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Danny Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Georges Meese (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Li comes to the cage accompanied by Tai Chi master. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Daniel Franklin and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meese misses with a shot to the body
and Li counters with a right hand to the body.
Meese jabs Li right on the nose. Li blinks but takes it well.
Li lands a body shot.
Li bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Meese throws a hook but Li avoids it easily.
Li stuns Meese with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Meese throws an overhand right that lands on Li's shoulder, as Li tries to avoid the shot.
Meese misses with a series of wild punches.
Meese fails to land with a series of punches.
Meese connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Li's hands.

enabling Li to counter with a crisp jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Li works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Li uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Meese.

Meese moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Danny Li has been cut.
Li takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Meese throws a lazy right hand but Li sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Georges Meese seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Meese throws the left hand but Li avoids the punch easily.

Li lands a nice shot that snaps Meese's head back.

No joy there for Meese, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Meese throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
It looked like Li wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Li works the jab nicely.
Meese lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

and Li counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Li scores with a shot to the body.
Meese swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Li counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Li connects with a right hand. Meese shakes it off.
Meese is rocked!
Li pounces like a tiger and cracks Meese with a vicious hook! Meese is down but not out! Li follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Danny Li!
A very excited looking Danny Li rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
