Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jyoti MacArthur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kirill Sobyanin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Sandra Marshall and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sobyanin wants to clinch.
MacArthur seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
MacArthur slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
MacArthur tries to sprawl but Sobyanin drives through with a takedown into half guard.
MacArthur preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
MacArthur is trying to control but can't.
MacArthur is positioning himself well to prevent Sobyanin advancing to mount.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Sobyanin is sneakily working for an arm triangle but MacArthur sees it coming and defends easily.

MacArthur is not content to let Sobyanin control the position.
MacArthur has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Sobyanin. Oh but MacArthur has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Sobyanin goes limp - he's gone! MacArthur jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
