Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanttonen stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Borschev.

It looks like Marko Hanttonen has been cut.
Borschev thuds his right hand into Hanttonen's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Borschev throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Borschev throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hanttonen stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Borschev throws a sloppy head kick and Hanttonen moves out of range easily.
Hanttonen was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
This has been an exciting period of action!

and Borschev counters with a nice uppercut.

We've been informed that Borschev has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Hanttonen tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Borschev avoids it.

and Borschev counters with an outside leg kick.
Hanttonen darts in trying to clinch
and Borschev counters with a nice body shot.

Borschev throws a leg kick but Hanttonen sees it coming and moves out of range.
Borschev throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Hanttonen is breathing heavily.
Borschev plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hanttonen misses with a straight right.
Borschev cracks Hanttonen with a good jab.
Marko Hanttonen's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Hanttonen throws a looping overhand right but Borschev ducks down to avoid it.
Borschev feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Hanttonen sprawling to the canvas! Hanttonen rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Borschev finish him?!
Jeez, Marko Hanttonen's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Marko Hanttonen's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Dmitry Borschev!
A relieved looking Dmitry Borschev thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
