Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mick Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xue Jianyu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mick Carter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Xue Jianyu!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Santiago Holmes and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jianyu lands a head kick. Carter smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Jianyu is looking to slow Carter down with leg kicks.
Jianyu throws a body kick that misses
and Carter counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Jianyu pushes Carter off and gets back to his feet.
Jianyu throws a sloppy head kick
and Carter counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Jianyu tries to kick Carter off in order to stand up. Carter Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Jianyu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Carter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Carter tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Carter is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jianyu knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Carter wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jianyu, who protects the arm well.

Jianyu avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Carter.
Carter creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Jianyu sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Jianyu sneaks back into half guard.
Carter perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jianyu is defending against the submission attempts here by Carter.
Carter is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Carter connects with a nice short shot to Jianyu's temple.
That's three minutes gone in the round.

Carter uses his free foot to push down on Jianyu's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Jianyu.
Carter with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Carter looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Carter prevents Jianyu from getting the reversal.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Jianyu stops Carter from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.

Carter working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
We've been informed that Jianyu has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Carter tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Carter has hold of Jianyu's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Jianyu manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Carter is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Jianyu has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Carter is working for a guillotine from mount but Jianyu frees his head quite easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mick Carter dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jianyu, as that shot connected.
Jianyu scores with a nice strike.
Carter changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jianyu looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Carter thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Carter controls the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Carter is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Jianyu is trying to escape and Carter transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Jianyu is forced to tap! Nice work there by Carter! Very nice indeed!
