Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ralf Peter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Deait Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Deait Shaw is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Deait Shaw!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Michael Johnstone and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peter misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Shaw.
Shaw changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Peter shoots and misses
and Shaw holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Peter is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Shaw to keep the fight standing.
Peter tries to break free but Shaw pushes him back against the cage.
Peter landing knees to the head.
It looks like Deait Shaw has been cut.
Peter breaks the clinch.
Shaw slips under a jab.
Peter is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Shaw's half guard.
Shaw kicks Peter off and gets back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Peter goes for a double leg but Shaw avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Shaw continues to drive forward.
Shaw steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Peter.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ralf Peter. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Shaw bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Peter bucks up and tries to throw Shaw off but instead Shaw has got his back!
Peter is really stuck here.
Shaw is landing with strikes. Peter can't take much more of this.
Peter is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Peter is trying to roll into a better position but Shaw has get a rear naked choke and Peter is forced to tap out! This one is allllll over!
