Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Paddy Walker!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Afonso Cabral!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Winston Alpacca and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Walker connects with a crisp jab.
Cabral displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Walker throws out the jab.
Walker throws a lazy right hand but Cabral sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Walker throws a left and a right that both miss
letting Cabral counter with a right hand.
Walker swings away with a body shot that misses
and Cabral counters with a straight right hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Walker looks to land a right hand but Cabral moved out of range.
Cabral is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cabral slips a jab from Walker.
Cabral wants to counter the offense by Walker and move into the clinch position.
Walker misses with a hook
and Cabral counters with a nice right hand that sends Walker toppling to the canvas! Walker scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Cabral finish him?!
Walker lands a two punch combo.
Walker lunges at Cabral with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Cabral's hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cabral slips under a jab from Walker.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Walker scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Walker throws an overhand right that lands on Cabral's shoulder, as Cabral tries to avoid the shot.
Cabral doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Walker throws the left hand but Cabral avoids the punch easily.
Cabral wants to counter the offense by Walker and move into the clinch position.
Walker misses with a left hand
and Cabral scores with a counter punch that sends Walker to the canvas! Cabral smells blood - he's punishing Walker with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Walker has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Afonso Cabral! Afonso Cabral retains his super heavyweight title!
