With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Arnar Ljus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ljus defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Leite.

Leite drives through with a takedown into Ljus's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Leite tries to free his leg and advance position but Ljus is retaining full guard.
We've been hearing good reports from Leite's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Leite slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Leite prevents Ljus from getting back to his feet.

Leite has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Ljus throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Leite.
Ljus throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Ljus lands with a hook. Leite tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Ljus looks to score with a jab to the body but Leite is just out of range.
Arnar Ljus is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ljus swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Leite changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ljus tries to avoid it but Leite manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ljus to the ground. Ljus escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Ljus counters with a nice uppercut.
Ljus sizes up Leite with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Leite is rocked!
Leite tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ljus swivels and escapes.
A countering left hand to the body from Ljus misses.
Oh Leite is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and Ljus counters with a left right combination that sends Leite crashing to the mat - Ljus wastes no time in diving on top of him and pounding Leite out for a TKO! Devastating finish!
