Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Luke Bam Bam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Silvio Provenza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Provenza has chosen Madreblu - Certamente as his entrance music. Silvio Provenza acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Luke Bam Bam! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Silvio Provenza! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Sandra Marshall and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Provenza tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bam Bam defends well and Provenza ends up having to push Bam Bam into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Bam Bam is looking to counter with head kicks. Provenza throws an overhand right that lands on Bam Bam's shoulder, as Bam Bam tries to avoid the shot. Provenza goes for a double leg but Bam Bam avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bam Bam continues to drive forward. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Bam Bam, as that shot connected.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Provenza is defended easily by Bam Bam. Bam Bam throws a quick counter kick to the body but Provenza avoids it. Luke Bam Bam has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Silvio Provenza. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Provenza. It appears Bam Bam was looking to counter with a kick there. Provenza shoots and misses and Bam Bam counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bam Bam lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Provenza throws a lazy uppercut
and Bam Bam cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Bam Bam looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Provenza shoots in looking for a takedown. Bam Bam tries to sprawl out of it but Provenza keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bam Bam manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Bam Bam stuffs the takedown attempt from Provenza. Provenza gets slowly back to his feet. Bam Bam fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Provenza fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. It appears Bam Bam was looking to counter with a kick there. Provenza looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Provenza is looking for a kimura but Bam Bam is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Provenza to get the leverage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Provenza not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Provenza prevents Bam Bam from improving his position. Bam Bam definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Provenza lands a nice short elbow. Provenza lands strikes from half guard. Provenza is taking a breather. Bam Bam says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Provenza is nestled in close to Bam Bam, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Provenza looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bam Bam with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Provenza throwing shots but Bam Bam is blocking nicely. Provenza lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Provenza thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Provenza working Bam Bam over with strikes. Bam Bam avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Provenza. Provenza working the head and body with strikes. Provenza scoring with strikes to the body and head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Provenza not doing much here.
Provenza has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Bam Bam trying to control here.
Provenza passes the guard and advances to mount! Provenza with the ground and pound from mount. Provenza scoring with strikes but Bam Bam is staying in there. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Provenza lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Silvio Provenza dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Bam Bam slaps away a takedown attempt from Provenza, before circling back to the center of the mat. A little feinted left hand from Bam Bam on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Bam Bam, right into the meat.
Bam Bam throws a head kick but Provenza moves out of range.
Provenza is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Provenza misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Bam Bam is looking to counter punch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Provenza blocks the body kick.
Bam Bam stuffs the takedown. Luke Bam Bam has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Silvio Provenza. Bam Bam misses with a kick to the body and Provenza counters with a nice double leg into side control. Bam Bam won't be happy with that.
That's one minute gone in the round. Provenza cracks Bam Bam with an elbow. That is naaassty. Provenza has hold of Bam Bam's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Bam Bam seems comfortable defending it but Provenza has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Bam Bam is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Bam Bam is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Provenza couldn't care less - he's delighted!
