Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Halo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leandro Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Halo comes to the cage accompanied by Motorhead - The King Of Kings. Arthur Halo is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Arthur Halo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leandro Jones! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Halo. Halo dives in and scores a takedown into Jones's guard. Halo tries to free his leg and advance position but Jones is retaining full guard. Halo passes Jones's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Halo wants to free his trapped foot but Jones is holding on for dear life with his legs. Jones blocking the ground and pound attempt from Halo. Halo is trying to work for a kimura but Jones is defending well.
Halo thows a huge punch but Jones dodges it nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Halo looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's one minute gone in the round. Halo is working for a kimura but Jones is defending it quite comfortably.
Jones pushes Halo off and gets back to his feet. Halo fails with a takedown attempt. Halo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jones as he jumps to the side. Halo with a lazy takedown attempt and Jones counters with a stiff right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arthur Halo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Halo shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jones's guard. Halo looking to pass the guard. Jones avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Halo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Halo throws a big right hand that misses. Halo missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Halo postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jones is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Halo, into his guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jones wants to get up but he can't break Halo's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Halo is working an open guard so Jones takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Halo tries for a takedown but Jones circles away easily The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. and Jones counters with a left and a right that stings Halo. Halo shoots in and bounces Jones off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Jones has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Halo off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones with a jab. Halo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Jones let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Jones slips a jab and a cross from Halo.
Jones throws a jab but it's blocked by Halo. Jones gets caught flat footed, as Halo shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Jones pushes Halo off and scrambles back to his feet.
Jones throws out a loose jab but Halo uses good head movement to avoid it. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Halo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. A combination from Halo does no damage. Halo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jones's waist but Jones gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Halo off to one side. A punch combination from Jones misses. Halo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jones tries to avoid it but Halo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Halo dives in and grabs Jones's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes down on Halo's head and hops out.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Halo is defended easily by Jones. Arthur Halo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Halo is breathing heavily. Nice takedown defense from Jones. No joy for Halo on that attempt. Halo on the wrong end of a nice hook. Halo looks for a takedown but Jones sprawls well. Jones swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Halo shoots in for a double leg but Jones sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Jones let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Leandro Jones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Halo closes the distance and clinches up with Jones, looking for a takedown. Halo pushes Jones against the cage but Jones circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Jones is looking for the big counter here. Jones swinging wildly here.
Jones throws a series of punches but Halo avoids them all with ease. Halo doesn't succeed with the takedown and Jones connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Halo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jones as he jumps to the side. Halo throws a right and a left that both miss. A nice combination there by Jones.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leandro Jones dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Halo shoots in looking for a takedown but Jones manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Halo's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Halo with a poor takedown and Jones counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Halo is defended easily by Jones. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arthur Halo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Halo with a lazy takedown attempt and Jones counters with a nice uppercut. Jones slaps away a takedown attempt from Halo, before circling back to the center of the mat. Nice sprawl there from Jones as Halo shoots in. Halo shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Halo chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jones can pounce on him.

Halo needs to keep his hands up - Jones had a free shot at his head there. Jones lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. No luck for Halo with that takedown attempt.

Halo is sent crashing into the canvas and Jones leaps in for the kill! Halo tries to get to his feet but Jones is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Halo is in need of a savior and steps in!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Leandro Jones!
