Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Julio Rivera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugh Jaskok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Julio Rivera! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hugh Jaskok! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Emerson Jorge and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Rivera looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Jaskok avoids a kick to the body.
Jaskok scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Jaskok trying to mount his opponent but Rivera defends it. Rivera might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Rivera wants to get back to full guard. Jaskok thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Rivera's head. Rivera tries to kick Jaskok off in order to stand up. Jaskok Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jaskok taking a breather here. Jaskok wants to stand but Rivera has his arm trapped.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jaskok is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Rivera will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Jaskok throws an elbow but Rivera slips to the side and avoids it well. You can see the frustration on Rivera's face as Jaskok controls the position. Rivera avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Jaskok. Rivera is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Jaskok takes a little break here. Rivera wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Jaskok is working to tighten his grip on Rivera's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Rivera has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Jaskok is really squeezing tight and eventually Rivera passes out! Jaskok breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
