Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Leonardo Leite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Pao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Leonardo Leite!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Michael Johnstone and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leite shoots in and drives through. Pao sprawls well.
Pao replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Leite blocks it well.
Leite is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Pao's half guard.
Pao moves into full guard.
Leite stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pao swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Pao working for submissions but it's allowed Leite to get to half guard.
Pao is defending against the submission attempts here by Leite.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pao looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Leite passes to side control.

Pao is trying to improve his position.
Leite has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Pao!
Leite swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Pao is now in Leite's guard. A big mistake from Leite there, giving up the dominant position!
Leite escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pao gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Pao wants to control from the top but Leite keeps moving.
Pao postures up in Leite's guard and throws a big left but Leite blocks it.
Leite looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Leite looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Pao in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Pao drops back looking for a leg! Leite is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Leite manages to kick Pao off! Pao jumps back into Leite's guard.
Pao pushes down on Leite's leg and manages to get into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pao seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Leite does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Leite is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Pao pulls his head out easily.
Pao wants to work for an arm triangle but Leite is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Leite regains full guard. Nicely done.
Pao throws a big elbow that misses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Leite working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pao doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pao manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Leite has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pao can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Pao thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Pao got a little sloppy there for a moment and Leite has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pao has managed to get both his arms back between Leite's legs - danger averted.
Leite had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Pao defends it easily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Leite working for a triangle but Pao defends it easily.
Leite looking for a guillotine here but Pao defends easily.
Pao is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Leonardo Leite dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Pao enables Leite to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Pao manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Leite is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Pao can do to turn this around?

Pao is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Pao has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Leite doesn't defend quickly enough and Pao has managed to lock this one up! Can Leite escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Pao on a fantastic submission victory.
