Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sonny Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Feisal Aabi Hassan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Sonny Turner has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sonny Turner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Feisal Aabi Hassan!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, David Hoff and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turner avoids a punch combination nicely.
Turner has his takedown stuffed
and Aabi Hassan counters with a straight right hand.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Aabi Hassan enables Turner to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Aabi Hassan manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Turner throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Aabi Hassan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Turner doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Turner manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Aabi Hassan in particular looking to stall.

Aabi Hassan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Turner does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Aabi Hassan has his foot on Turner's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Turner works his way back into a safe position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Turner knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Aabi Hassan on the ground.

Aabi Hassan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Turner's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Aabi Hassan stands up over Turner, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

That's time! Turner's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
The fight stays on the outside here - Turner looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Turner throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Aabi Hassan looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Turner really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

and Aabi Hassan counters with a nice double leg into side control. Turner won't be happy with that.
Aabi Hassan wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Turner, who protects the arm well.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Feisal Aabi Hassan has got the better of the ground game so far.

Turner takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Turner bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Aabi Hassan dips to his left and cracks Turner with an uppercut!
Sonny Turner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Aabi Hassan now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Sonny Turner is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Turner dives in and grabs Aabi Hassan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Aabi Hassan pushes down on Turner's head and hops out.
Aabi Hassan let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

Turner misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Aabi Hassan appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Aabi Hassan swings around for an armbar but Turner sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Aabi Hassan's guard.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Aabi Hassan holds on and takes a little breather.

Feisal Aabi Hassan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Aabi Hassan wants to control but Turner is keeping him busy.
Aabi Hassan cracks Turner with a big right hand but Turner just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
