The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Winston Alpacca and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Island clinches with his opponent.
Island softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Island doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Taran is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Island to keep the fight standing.
Island scores with a shoulder strike.
Island definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Taran is trying to drag Island to the mat but Island just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Island has a couple of punches blocked by Taran.
Island pushes Taran back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Island scores with an uppercut up the middle.
A nice left hand lands by Island.
Island lands with a left to the head.
A short body shot lands from Island as the two fighters clinch.
Island digs a right hand underneath Taran's ribcage. Taran let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Taran tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Island smiles and moves away.
Kromog Island has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexander Taran.

Island rushes Taran and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Taran can't get the takedown.
