The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vettenranta scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Vettenranta is staying tight to Bravo's torso, preventing him from escaping. We've been hearing that Vettenranta has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Vettenranta in side control lands a decent elbow. Vettenranta is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Bravo has escaped the position, nice work there. Bravo tries to get back to half guard but can't.
