Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jake Belcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kona Bud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kona Bud told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jake Belcher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kona Bud!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, David Hoff and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belcher slips a straight right by Bud.
Belcher tries to counter with a takedown but Bud is quick to defend against it.
Bud lands a high kick!
Belcher avoids the head kick by Bud.
Belcher drops down looking for a counter takedown but Bud sprawls and moves away.
A slow jab from Bud misses its intended target.
Belcher throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bud tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Belcher is in Bud's guard.
Belcher lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Belcher is looking to work some ground and pound but Bud has wrist control.
Bud looking for a sweep. Not yet Bud, not yet.
Bud keeping full guard, as Belcher tries to pass.
Bud wants to stand but Belcher is controlling the position.
Bud is trying to control the position but Belcher postures up.
Bud looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Belcher is looking to work some ground and pound but Bud has wrist control.
Belcher definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Belcher trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Belcher lands a couple of elbows.
Belcher stands and throws Bud's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bud takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Belcher landing a few strikes.
Belcher working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Belcher has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bud tries to improve position but can't.
Belcher in side control lands a decent elbow.
Belcher scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Bud to see if he's OK.
Belcher works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Belcher is working Bud over with some ground and pound from side control.
Bud takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Belcher landing strikes.
Bud can't do much from the bottom here.
Belcher is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Bud will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bud takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
